The National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Calls to Justice seeks substantive equality for Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people by addressing the genocide of violence and to transform systemic and societal values that have worked to maintain colonial violence and undermine the safety of Indigenous Women and Girls and 2SLGBTQQIA+. Indigenous Women continue to seek the full consideration of their thoughts, ideas and needs in advancing the well-being of all Canadians.
